Buddhist Medicine - Healing Accounts
William Ip is a laboratory technician. In 1991 he took sick leave from work and spent three months in a psychiatric hospital suffering from acute depression and anxiety. The treatment he received at the hospital was not successful, and if anything, had adverse effects. In despair, he went to Sifu Yeung for help.
"When I came to Sifu Yeung for help, I was suffering from severe anxiety, depression and insomnia; unable to sit or stand still as a result of violent nervous tremors, agitation, tension, and headaches. At my first session with Sifu, he opened up the energy channels of my body so that the self-absorbed nervous energy that had been entrapped within due to anxiety and depression could be released. That night was the first time I had any proper rest in months. On his advice, I stopped taking the medication 'Prothiaden' which was prescribed to calm my nerves, but was causing me frantic nervous tremors. By the end of my second session, Sifu was able to release more nervous energy out of the body over a duration of four hours. It was quite an incredible transformation. All of the tension and nervous energy that I had been suffering from were removed, like a huge weight was removed. All the symptoms I was accustomed to were gone. Two treatment sessions with Sifu had succeeded where the hospital and doctors had failed in three months.
