Dorje Duddul has a degree in law and works as an analyst for a major PLC. He has been a practitioner of Tae Kwon Do, Taiji, Aikido, Zen Shiatsu, and Reiki before becoming a student of the Classical Qigong Study.

"I have been privileged to witness a number of what I would deem to be extraordinary phenomena which seem to occur when Sifu is around. I have become used to seeing some of my fellow classmates being hurled across the room without being touched. I did not bat an eye when I saw someone with years of Karate experience trying his best to attack Sifu only to be repelled by Sifu blowing on him. I have even seen Sifu expand his body and grow several inches taller in front of me.

I have also witnessed the gentlest and most compassionate act when Sifu healed a bee during one of my trips to Newcastle. It was during a lunch break in the courtyard of a cafe that I discovered I had sat on a bee by accident. The bee lay there in a crumpled heap and I initially thought it was dead. I picked up the bee and placed it on the table. Sifu gazed at the bee in one of those moments when everything goes quiet and time seems to stand still, this continued for what seemed an eternity but was probably only a few moments. The most amazing thing happened, the bee very slowly regained its shape as if it had been inflated from within. The bee then righted itself and was trying to stand but one of its back legs was damaged. I remember thinking that thankfully it is not dead but it must be in pain. At this moment another student asked if it would not be better to put the bee out of its misery as the compassionate thing to do. Sifu smiled and said that if we had to put everyone out of their misery because of their suffering there would be a lot less people in the world. Meanwhile the bee had regained the use of its legs, staying in the same position for some time while some fluid was excreted. When it had finished it crawled off at a speed, which did not suggest any pain, injury or damage at all, and finally took off.

As for me, the strangest phenomenon of all is simply this; that a person academically trained to deal with logic, facts and evidence, as I am, has come to accept such things completely as the norm although they are beyond my understanding. It is just part of the experience of being with Sifu."
