In the Audio Teaching ‘The Importance of Confession and Correcting Errors', Lama Dondrup Dorje explains the importance of changing ourselves and that, with the courage to confess and correct our errors, a state of natural harmony is attained.

If we make confession and correct our mistakes, we can overcome our own inner conflict and eliminate unworthy conduct. We must realise the importance of having a good relationship with ourselves, while not focusing on the mistakes of others.

When we act to change our conduct, the burden of guilt evaporates and we can apply ourselves through the path of Living Dharma: maintaining a virtuous motivation in all that we do. Starting with small things in how we apply ourselves in daily activities, simplifying our lives so we come to realise our true potential, generating true compassion for the benefit of all sentient beings.
