The Annual Ngagyur Kama Transmission at Bodhgaya 2012
His Eminence Yangthang Rinpoche from Domang Monastery has graciously accepted the invitation by Ngagyur Kama Tradition Preservation Association (NKTPA) to confer the empowerment of Kagye Desheg Dupa (The Eight Herukas as the Gathering of all the Buddhas) on the 4th February 2012 after the completion of the 2012 Ngagyur Nyingma Monlam Chenmo (The Great Prayer Festival for World Peace) in Bodhgaya, India. This will be followed by the complete oral transmission of Ngagyur Kama Teachings. At the conclusion of the transmission, Yangthang Rinpoche has agreed to bestow Long Life Empowerment to the congregation. The attendance of this Kama Transmission is restricted to those who have already received the first part of Kama Transmission given by Yangthang Rinpoche at the 2nd Ngagyur Kama Transmission in 2010.
Another highlight of this year's gathering will be teaching given by Khenchen Namdrol Tsering Rinpoche on one of the Gyud (Mahayoga Tantra) which is part of the three great cycles of teaching of the Nyingma Tradition. The other two are Lung (Anuyoga tantra) and Men-Ngag (Atiyoga tantra).
