Official Announcement of the Recognition of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche’s Reincarnation
We are delighted to bring you the news that Namdroling Monastery has announced, on 5th December 2013, that the reincarnation of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche has been reborn in Tibet. According to the prophecy letter of His Holiness Jadrel Rinpoche, the reincarnation of HH Penor Rinpoche was born near Lelen Tramo Drag or Dung Lung Tramo Drag, the sacred place where Nyingthig Tabshyi (The Four Cycles of heart Essence Teachings) was revealed. Based on this prophecy letter, combined with the pure visions of Tulku Thubten Palzang Rinpoche, the Yangsi (reincarnated being) of HH Penor Rinpoche was authentically recognised.
The Yangsi will be enthroned on 31st July 2014, the auspicious day of Buddha’s First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma, 4th day of the sixth Tibetan month, 2141.
Namdroling Monastery administration request all their Dharma brothers and sisters to carry out the following prayers for the long life of the Yangsi and to overcome all the obstacles, thereby ensuring the success of the enthronement ceremony.
